Tribuna ("Tribuna", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how it may be shared, and the choices available to you when you use the Tribuna mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Services").

Tribuna is operated by Tribuna, a company registered in Estonia. By using Tribuna, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you create an account, we may collect information such as email address, username, display name, profile picture, account identifiers, and authentication information.

Passwords and authentication credentials may be processed securely through our authentication service providers and are not stored by Tribuna in plain text.

Profile and User Content

When you use Tribuna, you may choose to provide or create profile information, match attendance records, stadium visits, match check-ins, selected clubs, matchday memories, photos or videos, reviews, ratings, comments, badges, missions, achievements, Tribuna Points ("TP"), and other information voluntarily added to your profile.

Some information you choose to publish may be visible to other Tribuna users.

Location Information

Certain Tribuna features may require access to your device location, including features that verify whether you are at or near a stadium. We may process precise or approximate location information when you explicitly grant permission. Location access is controlled through your device settings and can be disabled at any time.

Match and Activity Information

We may process information about matches you attended or plan to attend, stadiums visited, check-in activity, clubs and competitions associated with your match history, missions, achievements, application interactions, and feature usage.

Device and Technical Information

We may automatically receive limited technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, language, device identifiers, IP address, crash information, diagnostic information, performance information, and app interaction data.

Purchase and Subscription Information

If Tribuna offers paid subscriptions or in-app purchases, payments made through the Apple App Store are processed by Apple. Tribuna does not receive or store your full payment card information. We may receive transaction-related information from Apple, such as subscription status, product purchased, transaction identifiers, and renewal or expiration information.

Communications

If you contact Tribuna for support, we may collect your name, email address, message contents, and technical information you provide in connection with the support request.

2. How We Use Information

We may use the information we collect to create and manage accounts, provide Tribuna features, record match and stadium history, verify eligible check-ins, generate personal football statistics, provide missions and badges, store uploaded content, personalize the experience, maintain and improve the Services, detect fraud or abuse, diagnose technical problems, respond to support requests, manage subscriptions, communicate important service information, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Public Information

Tribuna includes social and community features. Depending on your privacy settings and the features you use, information such as your username, profile picture, stadium visits, match history, statistics, badges, reviews, or uploaded content may be visible to other users.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of photos, videos, reviews, comments, and other original content you upload to Tribuna. You grant Tribuna the limited rights necessary to host, store, process, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely for operating and providing the Services.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

Tribuna may use third-party technology providers for cloud infrastructure, databases, authentication, file and image storage, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, payments, subscriptions, and customer support. For example, Tribuna may use Supabase for backend infrastructure, database services, authentication, and storage.

Apple processes purchases made through the Apple App Store according to Apple's own terms and privacy practices.

6. Advertising and Analytics

Tribuna may use analytics technologies to understand how users interact with the Services and improve application performance. If advertising features are introduced, Tribuna may work with advertising providers and request permission where required by applicable law or Apple's policies.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain accounts, fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and enforce agreements.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your Tribuna account and associated personal information directly from within the Tribuna application, or contact support@tribuna-app.com.

Deleting a Tribuna account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store subscription. App Store subscriptions must be managed separately through your Apple account.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, request a copy of, or withdraw consent for certain personal information. You may exercise applicable rights by contacting support@tribuna-app.com.

10. European Users and GDPR

Where GDPR applies, personal information may be processed based on performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving Tribuna, or compliance with legal obligations. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection authority.

11. International Data Transfers

Tribuna and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country in which you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers in accordance with applicable data protection law.

12. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

13. Children's Privacy

Tribuna is not intended for children below the minimum age permitted to independently consent to the processing of personal information under applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent would legally be required.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, we may provide notice through the Tribuna application, website, or another appropriate method.
